Product Description
High pressure floating pneumatic rubber fender is a leading anti-collision device for marine application in the world today. It is made of synthetic cord reinforced rubber sheet with compressed air inside to enable it to float on the water and work as a shock absorber during ship-to-ship transfer operations and ship-to-quay berthing.
Key Construction Components:
- Outer Rubber: Protects cord layers and inner rubber from abrasion and external forces. High tensile and tear strength.
- Inner Rubber: Seals the pressurized air inside the fenders.
- Synthetic Tire Cord Layers: Reinforcement layers arranged at ideal angles to distribute stress evenly.
- Beading Ring: Steel ring holding the ends of cord layers.
- Safety Valve: Equipped on fenders of diameter 2500mm and larger to release excess internal pressure.

Application Scenarios
1. Ship to Ship (STS) Operation: Used as primary fendering to absorb berthing energy and maintain proper stand-off distance between two vessels.
2. Ship to Quay (STQ) Operation: Anchored to the quay by guy chains and shackles. The fenders float on the water surface adjusting with tidal changes.
