High-Quality Yokohama Marine Rubber Fender for Boat/Ship/Docks

Marine rubber fender also called pneumatic rubber fender, boat rubber fender, or Yokohama fender, made of rubber & multi-layers of rubber-dipped tire fabric is a leading anti-collision device for marine application in the world today. Marine fenders have become an ideal ship protection medium against collision among ship-to-ship (STS), ship-to-quay (STQ), and ship-to-berthing (STB), they are widely used for large tankers, vessels, docks, harbor wharves, and ocean platforms.

High pressure floating pneumatic rubber fender is a leading anti-collision device for marine applications. It is made of a synthetic cord-reinforced rubber sheet with compressed air inside to enable it to float on the water and work as a shock absorber during ship-to-ship transfer operations and ship-to-quay berthing and mooring operations.

Pneumatic fenders have the advantage of massive energy absorption with low unit surface pressure acting upon the ship. So pneumatic fender has become an ideal ship protection medium used extensively by large tankers, LPG vessels, ocean platforms, bulk carriers and floating structures, large docks, harbors, and wharves.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Yokohama Marine Rubber Fender?
A Yokohama fender, also known as a pneumatic rubber fender, is a leading anti-collision device for marine applications. It uses compressed air as a damping medium to absorb the impact energy of a ship, making it more flexible and soft when berthing.
What are the main advantages of pneumatic fenders over solid rubber fenders?
Pneumatic fenders provide massive energy absorption with low unit surface pressure acting upon the ship's hull. They are also adaptable to tidal changes as they float on the water surface and are easier to install.
How long is the expected lifespan of these fenders?
With proper maintenance and usage, our high-quality marine rubber fenders typically have a lifespan of 8 to 10 years.
Can the size of the fender be customized?
Yes, while we offer many standard sizes (ranging from 500mm to 4500mm in diameter), we can provide customized dimensions to meet specific vessel or dock requirements.
What certifications do your marine fenders carry?
Our products are manufactured in compliance with international standards such as ISO 17357:2002 and can be provided with certificates from major classification societies like CCS, GL, BV, and DNV.
Are these fenders suitable for ship-to-ship transfers?
Absolutely. They are an ideal medium for ship-to-ship (STS) operations, as well as ship-to-quay (STQ) and ship-to-berthing (STB) applications, especially for large tankers and bulk carriers.
